Vietnam will be free is a chamber film that tells of a war, of memory that fades, of a challenge against the passing of time. Two shoeboxes full of 6x6 photographic negatives, forgotten in an old wardrobe in the attic for over fifty years, have been unexpectedly rediscovered. In 1964-65 the directors Lino Del Fra and Cecilia Mangini lived for three months in North Vietnam at war with the U.S.A. to carry out inspections for a documentary film about the struggle of that people determined to conquer unity and independence. The 1st Cannes Film Festival was held from September 20 to October 5. 1946. In this documentary, British actress Charlotte Rampling recounts the eventful beginnings of the film festival. In addition, Frédéric Chaudier and Frédéric Zamochnikoff have compiled unpublished contemporary documents from the family archive of Jean Zay, original footage from various eras of the festival, which is now considered the most important and fascinating film festival in the world.

Tae Joo has charm and good looks and only dates rich women. He finds Eun Soo, a poor girl, sleeping in front of his door. He initially despises her, but finds himself falling for her. Tae Joo becomes entangled with the daughter of a rich shopping mall CEO when she buys Tae Joo's time to make her old boyfriend jealous. Tae Joo dumps Enu Soo for this money-making relationship.
